Waste Connections is seeking a Site Foreman in Puyallup, WA.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30 AM ? 3:30 PM
Position Responsibilities:
+ Ensures adherence to the corporate safety program.
+ Will lead and train employees in safety culture and policies.
+ Leads a team of 5 direct reports.
+ Planning and scheduling work for laborers on site.
+ Fosters collaboration between and among personnel.
+ Scheduling of site maintenance.
+ Scheduling equipment maintenance (Hand tools, such as weed eaters, lawn mowers, etc.)
+ Ensure proper maintenance of: storm water pumps and leachate pumps.
+ Tools Storage Maintenance.
+ Manage personal protective equipment.
+ Direct personnel to manage wet lands.
+ Scale maintenance.
Knowledge and Skills:
+ Must have ability to plan, budget, schedule and supervise multiple projects from concept to completion.
+ Must have ability to motivate staff to meet corp., region, division and district objectives.
+ Must have excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills and ability to achieve cost effective solutions.
+ 1-2 years in a supervisory experience within a trade field (construction, transportation, etc.)
+ Ability to train and motivate staff a must.
+ Strong organizational skills, including scheduling work and allocating staff.
You will be provided with the following safety equipment:
+ Uniform, safety boots, safety glasses, hard hat, rubber boots, and rain gear.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
